Model with us
A safe, respectful, and genuinely inclusive space. No prior experience needed.
Who we're looking for
We welcome models of all genders, body types, ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We are an LGBTIQ+ friendly studio and actively value diversity in who models for us — because diverse bodies make for richer, more honest drawing practice.
No prior modelling experience is required. If you're curious and willing to give it a go, we'd love to hear from you. First-timers are genuinely welcome. What matters most is that you feel comfortable, communicate openly, and can commit to the session time.
This is an artistic endeavour. Artists attend to practise figure drawing — the focus is on line, form, light, and proportion. Models are an essential part of that practice, and are treated with the respect that comes with that role.
Your safety comes first
We take model safety seriously. Before your first session, we'll talk through expectations, answer any questions, and make sure you're comfortable with how everything works. Nothing happens without your explicit agreement.
- You set your own boundaries — wardrobe level, pose style, and comfort are entirely your call.
- Poses are agreed before the session begins. Nothing is sprung on you.
- You can pause, adjust, or stop at any time, for any reason.
- A private changing space is provided.
- No photography or video at any time during sessions.
- Any disrespectful behaviour from artists results in immediate removal.
- Regular breaks are built into every session.
- Sessions have a clear start and finish time — you won't be kept late.
What a session looks like
Sessions run for two hours. You'll move through a series of timed poses — starting shorter and building to longer holds — with breaks in between. A facilitator manages timing and the room, so you can focus entirely on the poses.
There's no performance required. You don't need to be a particular shape, size, age, or level of fitness. You just need to be present and comfortable in the space.
What we ask of you
- Punctuality — arriving on time lets the session start smoothly for everyone.
- Reliability — if you need to cancel, please let us know as early as possible.
- Open communication — tell us what you're comfortable with, and speak up if anything changes.
Payment
Models are paid for their time. Payment is negotiated individually and discussed before your first session. We are particularly interested in hearing from people who are new to modelling and happy to start modestly — though we're open to conversations with anyone.
Payment is made at the end of each session, by cash or bank transfer.
Express interest
Fill in a short form and we'll be in touch with more details. There's no commitment involved — just a chance to ask questions and see if it feels right. The form takes about two minutes to complete.
